Born in 1965 in Lower Austria, graduated from university in 1991 (Theatre science with a combination of German, History and Philosophy), several experiences as a journalist, e.g. with the ORF (Austrian national TV).
After that I was working at the theatre (directing and writing musicals/song lyrics) and at the film (screenwriter and director of several advertising films).
In 2002 publication of the first crime novel with Detective Maria Kouba,
"Die Namensvetterin" (The Namesake), meanwhile the sixth volume, "Die Spielmacher" (The Playmaker, 2011), was released.
2013 start of a second series with the Detectives Mayer & Katz; first volume "Marathonduell" (Marathonduel, nominated for the Leo Perutz-Price 2013), second "Caddielove" (2014); in the same year release of the erotic novel
“Renata geht tanzen” (Renata starts dancing).
At the same time many short stories (publications in anthologies); the story
"Peter in St. Paul" (Peter at St. Paul's) was awarded with the Friedrich-Glauser-Price 2007.
